Biography
Antony was born in Coventry in 1974 and is currently based in Derbyshire, UK. Following a Graphic Design Degree in Liverpool and a Creative Technology MA at Salford University, he has been employed in the Videogames Industry as a 3D Lighting Artist, most recently completing Beijing 2008 for SEGA.
Capturing the various effects of light on canvas has always been a preoccupation and has played a big part in the development of his art. He has always painted landscapes, family and friends, with commissioned portraiture being a relatively new and exciting avenue. He works in a very traditional style from sketches, life and photographs, using high quality acrylics.
